Venue technology is being constructed with a fan-first approach. UBS Arena will feature a state-of-the-art sound system that leverages sophisticated engineering acoustics to amplify the audio experience. Arena displays will include the largest scoreboard in New York with industry-leading high-definition technology and two levels of high-resolution LED ribbon boards.

Recently, UBS Arena announced it was partnering with Verizon to bring the power of Verizon’s 5G network to the Arena. Supercharging the fan experience through the utilization of the Verizon 5G Ultra-Wideband network, fans like you will be able to connect to the UBS Arena app and participate in team trivia and other gamification platforms that will be delivered to their phone and on the scoreboard. In addition to providing the bandwidth for the app, the Verizon 5G network will also give UBS Arena the ability to create next-generation solutions in public safety, 5G access, concessions, and crowd management.

Additionally, the game presentation will offer dramatic theatrical lighting and ice video projections, wait times will be reduced through emerging POS solutions and payment systems, and guests will enjoy ultra-fast and ubiquitous Wi-Fi and mobile coverage powered by the latest generation of wireless infrastructure.

Bags that measure no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are permitted and will be subject to x-ray or visual screening depending on the size of the bag. Medical bags and baby bags will be permitted and must be screened before entry. All other bags will not be allowed into the arena. Learn more here.

For safety and as a courtesy to other guests, aisles must be kept clear at all times. Please refrain from standing in the aisles. Dancing, lingering, etc. in the aisles will not be allowed.

Guests are allowed to stand during an event, provided that they are only occupying the area in front of their ticketed seats. Standing in aisles and on chairs is strictly prohibited. 

Yes, there is a puck-in-play policy. UBS Arena is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Please be aware of our puck-in-play policy, which requires guests to refrain from accessing their seats while the ball or puck is in play. This policy enables guests to enjoy an unobstructed view of the game.

No, the arena does not have a coat check.

Trained Guest Services and Security personnel will ensure the security and safety of all guests, performers, and employees at UBS Arena. In an emergency, guests must comply with requests from venue staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, or printed materials is not permitted without the written permission of UBS Arena and/or its tenants. In addition, the sampling and distribution of products is prohibited without arena approval.

Event merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the arena on the main and upper concourses.

  • Weapons of any kind, including mace, pepper spray, knives, sharp objects, bats, clubs, tasers, etc.
  • Bags
  • Professional camera equipment (e.g., detachable lens; lens greater than 3”; external flash; monopods; bipods; tripods; etc.)
  • Laptops, personal computers, and two-way radios
  • Audio/video recording devices
  • Laser pointers or flashlights
  • Illegal drugs/substances (current prescription medication in the original container is permitted, provided the guest produces identification matching the prescription container)
  • Outside alcohol
  • Fireworks, missile-like objects, Frisbees, and any other form of projectiles
  • Signs, flags, and banners larger than 11”x17”. Signs, flags, and banners of any size attached to poles. Signs, flags, and banners are prohibited by the event or made of wood, metal, plastic, or other hard material
  • Balloons, beach balls, and other inflatables
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, etc.
  • Firestarters and lighters
  • Cans (including aerosols), bottles, boxed liquids, metal, glass, or other insulated containers
  • Pets, other than service animals
  • Selfie sticks, poles
  • Coolers of any size, including soft-sided coolers
  • Masks other than face coverings other than mandated for COVID – 19
  • Signs, posters, or garments with offensive language, phrasing, or symbols
  • Pointed tip or large umbrellas
  • *Outside food or beverage (exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs)
  • Noisemakers, air horns, bells, bull horns, whistles, etc
  • Optical illusions (i.e., items intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pinwheels and umbrellas)
  • Drones
  • Patrons without shoes, shirts, or pants/shorts
  • Flowers, unless allowed by tour production
  • Skateboards and rollerblades
  • Any other items if prohibited by the various shows 

UBS Arena Management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary.

*Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs. Guests with specific/special dietary needs due to medical conditions or special needs should contact Guest Services by emailing [email protected] at least 48 hours before attending the event to arrange for reasonable accommodations.

UBS Arena is a smoke-free facility.  Smoking is not permitted in the arena at any time, including on the outdoor terraces. The immediate area around the arena is also a non-smoking campus. Additionally, electronic smoking devices are not permitted to be used inside the building. There is no re-entry.

There are bi-level wall-mounted drinking fountains located in guest-facing spaces throughout the arena.

Following New York State Department of Health’s updated COVID-19 health and safety guidance, all guests are no longer required to present proof of full vaccination status or proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter our venue.
Guests should not come to UBS Arena if they have COVID-19, COVID-19 symptoms, or know if they’ve been exposed to COVID-19.

UBS Arena and the surrounding development created10,000 construction jobs and 3,000 permanent jobs to the region. The project spurred $25 billion in economic activity with 30% of those permanent jobs going to residents from the surrounding area. 30% of the contracting dollars for construction went to state-certified Minority and Women-Owned Business contracts, and 6% to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses.

Animals are not allowed in UBS Arena; however, an exception is made for leashed, harnessed, and housebroken Service Animals. If you or a member of your party is bringing a service animal, we strongly recommend that you contact UBS Arena’s Guest Services at [email protected].  We offer seating locations throughout the Arena that will provide a dedicated space for the animal.

Backstage areas are limited to individuals with proper credentials.

UBS Arena does not process meet and greet requests. Instead, please contact the individual team or artist through their website.

Yes, guests can bring in binoculars if they wish.

Cameras with telephoto or interchangeable/detachable lenses and external flash (professional photography equipment) are not permitted at any time without a proper media credential. Video recording devices, audio recording devices, monopods, bipods, and tripods are also not allowed. Video recording on any device and/or flash photography is prohibited at all times.
This policy will be strictly enforced, and management reserves the right to deny the use of any electronic device at their discretion.

All guests are required to wear a shirt, pants or shorts, and shoes at all times for their safety. UBS Arena management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images.

If a guest begins to feel ill or requires medical assistance, please seek an usher immediately or find the nearest First Aid Room, located on the main and upper concourse.

The arena has free available Wi-Fi for all guests.

Laptops are prohibited inside the arena. Similar to bags, laptops can be checked before entry.

The lost and found team is available on non-event days from 10am-4pm.  Lost and found is closed on the weekend.  Item pick-up must be arranged in advance.  Please complete this form to provide us the best opportunity of finding and reuniting you with your item.

There is no re-entry permitted at UBS Arena for events or games.

Unless otherwise specified by teams and/or event officials/management, UBS Arena welcomes guests bringing small signs, banners, and posters inside the building to show fan support during events. The following guidelines relate to these items:
• Item may not be larger than 11” x 17” in size
• Item must be related to the event
• Item may not be attached to a stick/pole
• Item may not obstruct any sponsors/advertiser’s signage
• Item may not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the building
• Item may not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by UBS Arena management
• Item may not be constructed or displayed in a manner that may obstruct the view of other guests or in any way create a safety hazard for other guests.
• Items may not contain any website or advertising materials.

Yes, charging stations are located outside sections 102, 108, 118, & 207.

All children 2 years of age and older must have a ticket. Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket, but are expected to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian during events.

UBS Arena is a cashless venue with contactless options for all sales, including food service, parking, and merchandise. Reverse ATMs are located across from Section 106.

UBS Arena at Belmont Park will be the team’s home starting with the 2021-22 NHL season.

Most events at UBS Arena are for all ages. If an event has an age requirement, it will be listed on the Event Detail Page on this website and on Ticketmaster.com.

To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen or voided tickets, guests should make their ticket purchases through authorized outlets only. UBS Arena will not be responsible for validating tickets that were not purchased through an authorized outlet. Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket seller for events at UBS Arena.

Sign up for the UBS Arena email list to receive event updates, presale notifications, and more by hitting “Sign Up Now” on the top right of the screen and selecting “Concert and Event Announcements at UBS Arena” in the form.

All tickets purchased on Ticketmaster.com for UBS Arena will be delivered digitally and can be accessed via the Ticketmaster App and can be transferred to your Google or Apple Wallet.

All ticket sales are nonrefundable. In the event of a cancellation or postponement, information regarding refunds will be sent from Ticketmaster to the email address used to purchase your tickets.

Ticketmaster will always contact all buyers via email regarding any canceled or postponed events.

Yes, we have sensory rooms, and these are located at: Sections 106, Suite Level and Section 212. Sensory bags will be located at Guest Services Kiosks as well.

At the Family Lounge there is bottled room temperature water, baby wipes and diapers.

There are changing tables located in every restroom.

Family Lounges are located outside of Section 106 and Section 212.

Sensory bags include noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools and a feeling thermometer.

There are noise canceling earphones included in sensory bags located at our Guest Services kiosks.
