Venue technology is being constructed with a fan-first approach. UBS Arena will feature a state-of-the-art sound system that leverages sophisticated engineering acoustics to amplify the audio experience. Arena displays will include the largest scoreboard in New York with industry-leading high-definition technology and two levels of high-resolution LED ribbon boards. 

Recently, UBS Arena announced it was partnering with Verizon to bring the power of Verizon’s 5G network to the Arena. Supercharging the fan experience through the utilization of the Verizon 5G Ultra-Wideband network, fans like you will be able to connect to the UBS Arena app and participate in team trivia and other gamification platforms that will be delivered to their phone and on the scoreboard. In addition to providing the bandwidth for the app, the Verizon 5G network will also give UBS Arena the ability to create next-generation solutions in public safety, 5G access, concessions, and crowd management. 

Additionally, the game presentation will offer dramatic theatrical lighting and ice video projections, wait times will be reduced through emerging POS solutions and payment systems, and guests will enjoy ultra-fast and ubiquitous Wi-Fi and mobile coverage powered by the latest generation of wireless infrastructure.

We welcome guests to bring what will help them enjoy every event contained in bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”. All bags are subject to x-ray or visual screening depending on size. Want to ensure you have supplies for everyone in your party. Bring any medical or baby bag as they are permitted in the arena but must be screened before entry. While we love to see you enjoy our events, for the safety of the other guests, aisles must be kept clear at all times. Please refrain from standing in the aisles. Dancing, lingering, etc. in the aisles will not be allowed. 

Experience the action in the way you wish! We do ask in order for everyone to be able enjoy the events that guests only occupy the area in front of their ticketed seats. For the safety of everyone standing in aisles and on chairs is strictly prohibited.  

Experience the moment uninterrupted due to the implementation of the puck-in-play policy. UBS Arena is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Guests are required to refrain from accessing their seats while the ball or puck is in play. This policy enables guests to enjoy an unobstructed view and ensure safety during the game.

Here at UBS Arena our goal is safety. In case we need to evacuate trained Guest Services and Security personnel will ensure the safety of all guests, performers and employees at the arena. In an emergency we ask guests to comply with any request from staff to ensure safety.  

With written permission from UBS Arena and/or its tenants the distribution of flyers, promotional items, printed materials or sampling is permitted. However, without permission guests are prohibited to pass anything out.  

Take the memories of the events home with you by stopping at our many spots throughout the arena. Merchandise is available throughout the main and upper concourses.  

• We know it’s exciting to pack for a big night, so to ensure everyone’s experience is safe and enjoyable, please check the prohibited items listed below: 

  • Weapons of any kind, including mace, pepper spray, knives, sharp objects, bats, clubs, tasers, etc. 
  • Bags 
  • Professional camera equipment (e.g., detachable lens; lens greater than 3”; external flash; monopods; bipods; tripods; etc.) 
  • Laptops, personal computers, and two-way radios 
  • Audio/video recording devices 
  • Laser pointers or flashlights 
  • Illegal drugs/substances (current prescription medication in the original container is permitted, provided the guest produces identification matching the prescription container) 
  • Outside alcohol 
  • Fireworks, missile-like objects, Frisbees, and any other form of projectiles 
  • Signs, flags, and banners larger than 11”x17”. Signs, flags, and banners of any size attached to poles. Signs, flags, and banners are prohibited by the event or made of wood, metal, plastic, or other hard material 
  • Balloons, beach balls, and other inflatables 
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, etc. 
  • Firestarters and lighters 
  • Cans (including aerosols), bottles, boxed liquids, metal, glass, or other insulated containers 
  • Pets, other than service animals 
  • Selfie sticks, poles 
  • Coolers of any size, including soft-sided coolers 
  • Masks other than face coverings other than mandated for COVID – 19 
  • Signs, posters, or garments with offensive language, phrasing, or symbols 
  • Pointed tip or large umbrellas 
  • *Outside food or beverage (exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs) 
  • Noisemakers, air horns, bells, bull horns, whistles, etc 
  • Optical illusions (i.e., items intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pinwheels and umbrellas) 
  • Drones 
  • Patrons without shoes, shirts, or pants/shorts 
  • Flowers, unless allowed by tour production 
  • Skateboards and rollerblades 
  • Any other items if prohibited by the various shows  

    UBS Arena Management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary.

UBS Arena is a smoke-free facility because we want every guest to breathe easily and feel comfortable. This includes all forms of traditional and electronic smoking designated areas may be available outside the area. 

Yes! We offer bi-level touchless water fountains and refill stations so you can stay hydrated while cheering on your team or singing your heart out. They are located in the guest-facing spaces throughout the arena. UBS Arena is committed to making events enjoyable and sustainable and with the ability to refill water bottles or drink from fountains you can help us with this initiative.

Health and safety are our highest priorities. Following the New York State Department of Health’s updated COVID-19 health and safety guidance, all guests are no longer required to present proof of full vaccination status or proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter our venue. We continue to evolve based on expert guidance so you can feel safe while having great experiences. 

UBS Arena and the surrounding development created 10,000 construction jobs and 3,000 permanent jobs to the region. The project spurred $25 billion in economic activity with 30% of those permanent jobs going to residents from the surrounding area. 30% of the contracting dollars for construction went to state-certified Minority and Women-Owned Business contracts, and 6% to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses. 

We love our furry friends, but only service animals trained to assist guests with disabilities are allowed inside the arena. We understand how special it is to meet your hero. While we can’t guarantee autographs, your best opportunity is during fan appreciation events or by following official team and artist announcements. We promise to make every moment unforgettable whether you’re in the front row or cheering from the stands. 

Backstage is limited to individuals with proper credentials, but all events may be experienced throughout the remainder of the arena. Stay up to date on Ticketmaster postings as some events offer VIP and special packages that may include backstage access. 

Some events offer VIP or meet-and greet packages through the artist or tour promoter. Keep an eye on our event listings and subscribe to updates! 

For most events, small personal cameras without a detachable lens are welcome. Professional photography equipment, recording gear, video recording devices, audio recording devices, monopods, bipods, and tripods are not permitted unless approved with a proper media credential. This policy will be strictly enforced, and management reserves the right to deny the use of any electronic device at their discretion. We want to protect the artists’ and athletes’ work while helping you capture memories that last a lifetime. 

We welcome all styles that help you feel like your best self! Just make sure it is appropriate for all ages and aligns with our commitment to respect and inclusion. UBS Arena management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images.

We know how upsetting it can be to misplace something valuable. If you’ve lost an item, our team is available on non-event days from 10am-4pm. We’re here to help you reunite with your items, so item pick-up must be arranged in advance. 

To keep all guests safe and to ensure a smooth event experience, there is no re-entry policy maintained within UBS Arena.

We love that signs and posters are a part of what makes UBS Arena’s atmosphere so vibrant and energetic! Unless otherwise specified by teams and/or event officials/management, UBS Arena welcomes guests bringing small signs, banners, and posters inside the building to show fan support during events. The following guidelines relate to these items: 

• Item may not be larger than 11” x 17” in size 
• Item must be related to the event 
• Item may not be attached to a stick/pole 
• Item may not obstruct any sponsors/advertiser’s signage 
• Item may not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the building 
• Item may not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by UBS Arena management 
• Item may not be constructed or displayed in a manner that may obstruct the view of other guests or in any way create a safety hazard for other guests. 
• Items may not contain any website or advertising materials.
